A Tribute to Dottie Rambo
Dottie Rambo went home to be with our Heavenly Father on Mother's Day about 2:19 am. If anyone is interested you can go to the following website to get details of what happened: http://www.dottierambo.net/index2.htm. She wrote over 2,000 songs starting at the age of 8 years old. She became a Christian at age 12 and started writing gospel songs. Her songs were so inspirational and always ministered to me. One of her songs, Sheltered In The Arms of God, is below. When you read the words you may realize, as I did, that God meant this song especially for her.

Sheltered in the Arms of God

Psalms 61:3 "For You have been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy."
Words by Dottie Rambo
******
I feel the touch of hands so kind and tender
They're leading me in the paths that I must trod.
I'll have no fear for Jesus walks beside me
For I'm sheltered in the arms of God,
So let the storm clouds rage high,
The dark clouds rise, They don't bother me;
For I'm sheltered in the arms of God
He walks with me,
And naught of earth shall harm me.
For I'm sheltered in the arms of God
Soon I shall hear the call from Heaven's portals,
Come home my child, It's the last mile you must trod.
I'll fall asleep and wake in God's sweet Heaven
For I'm sheltered in the arms of God.
So let the storm clouds rage high,
The dark clouds rise, They don't bother me;
For I'm sheltered in the arms of God.
He walks with me,
And naught of earth shall harm me,
For I'm sheltered in the arms of God.

That's very nice. She must have been lovely you always speak so kindly of her. I'm glad her songs touched you so.
Have a great day,
Love,
Lynn
