I Can Only Imagine

Since we are studying Mary and Martha in Rachel Olsen's Bible Study on the women of the Bible, I thought it might be a good time to post the song "I Can Only Imagine". If you will go down my sidebar you will fine My Music Playlist which has the song on it. Click on the song and you can hear it as you read the words.

I Can Only Imagine
by Bart Millard

I can only imagine
What it will be like
When I walk by Your side.
I can only imagine
What my eyes will see
When Your face is before me.
I can only imagine.
Surrounded by Your glory,
what will my heart feel,
Will I dance for you Jesus,
or in awe of you be still?
Will I stand in Your presence,
or to my knees will I fall?
Will I sing hallelujah,
will I be able to speak at all?
I can only imagine.
I can only imagine
When that day comes
And I find myself standing in the Son.
I can only imagine
When all I will do
Is forever, forever worship you,
I can only imagine.

Can you just imagine what you will say to Jesus, who gave His life's blood for our redemption and bore stripes on His back for our healing?

Another great post! Thank you for the lyrics...I often sing words I think are part of the song...
The Lord has been placing some of the older songs on my heart lately...I found a few on CD at my library...one of the songs I am unable to find I only know a few words (if even that)...I believe the words are bring my body closer, bring my body home...
I can't remember anything else but the melody keeps running through my head...if you think you know it...please share whatever info you may have...
Have a blessed week-end.
In His Love,
Debrah

Alice
I can only Imagine was played at my Mom's memorial. I total explained how she would have been. I wrote a post on mothers day about it. Your website is beautiful as always and as are you.
Love,
Lynn
