Update and Taking Time off

This is to bring you all up-to-date with what is happening.  I saw the vascular sugeon yesterday and he says the blockage in the back of my neck is down near my left shoulder and there is no need to be concerned because God gave us two blood vessels one on each side.  If one should get blocked he would not do anything because I still have the one on the other side that is open and the blood in that vessel is open and giving me the flow of blood I need.  So thank the Lord I don't have to have any surgery.  However, he suggested I see an ENT about the dizziness.  I also have trouble walking straight and a feeling of sickness.

I saw an ENT doctor today and he says I need Physical Therapy to correct my balance which doesn't make sense to me but he says in 30 days this will all go away after the PT.  My first appointment is not until next Wednesday, so I've got to deal with the dizziness, the sick feeling in my stomach and keep myself from falling.  It's not a good feeling but he also said medicine would not correct this.  I have had vertigo before with the same feelings and medicine always corrected it.  I guess this is the progress of modern science.  I still need your prayers and I will continue praying for others who are in a lot worse shape than I am.

Because of all that is going on I will not be posting anymore for a while except maybe Word Filled Wednesdays.  I will try to keep up with those on my blogroll when I can and will comment if I can.

I have mixed feelings about what is going on but I still believe God is in control and will take care of me.  I can't say I like what is happening to my body but I stand on His word believing He is right beside me and will uphold me no matter what happens.  All of you mean so much to me and have made my life better because of your friendship and love.

May God richly bless everyone.

Ephesians 5:20: "giving thanks always for all things to
God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ."

I surely will be praying for you and the docs taking care of you that they will be instruments of the Great Physician. I've had recent vertigo and it is really stressful, so you just take that deserved rest and know that there are many praying for you. God bless you with His amazing peace.

It is good to hear you got results from your doctor. I had to go to therapy as well for my vertigo. Is it called specifically "vestibular therapy" by any chance? (You don't need to write me back with the answer, I know you are not blogging for a bit.) It is a relatively new field, but it has been VERY helpful for many people. I know some people that only needed one treatment and it corrected their problem. Mine never fully went away, which is unusual, but it has helped me a bunch!!! I will be praying for you and looking for new posts. I know how hard it is, I have lived it.
Sweet blessing on you. ~

Hi sis,
I got your message on my blog, I needed to come over and give you a ((( Hugz)))) and please be assured I am lifting you in prayer and interceding for a healing and just peace of mind. My Mom had a similar experience. We thought it Vertigo, she keep falling down and hurt herself. Later her caregiver realized it was one of her medication and when she stopped it she was better. But I know Vertigo makes you dizzy and you feel nauseated, not a really good feeling at all. They just gave me instructions on a paper for some excercises. Take care and rest my sister I will be checking back for updates. In the meantime you know where I am.
