Word Filled Wednesday - 2 Chronicles 7:14

Today is Word Filled Wednesday sponsored by Amydeanne at 160 Acrewoods. The purpose of Word filled Wednesday is to share God’s word through a photo and a verse! Click on the Internet Cafe, for more scriptures and pictures.

I think this scripture speaks for itself.  We definitely need to humble ourselves and pray for our country according to 2 Chronicales 7:14.

Ephesians 5:20: "giving thanks always for all things to
God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

A reminder which never gets old. We, His people, must continuously come before our God and pray that He searches our own hearts first then also pray for others. Let us all continuously humble ourselves before our mighty God who is so willing and able to bestow His mercies upon a repentant and yielded heart.

Thanks for sharing. Lots of blessings your way today.

Blessings Alice... YES, we certainly do. First, BE HUMBLE!!! Be thankful that HE CALLS US by name! Next, Seek His face (well I covered that) and mostly TURN from our wicked ways!
We ALL need to REPENT; not just the "worse" among us...ALL of US. And if we are so good that we feel we are without sin (think again) go back to be humble & even then we must repent,so He forgives us and heals our land.

Thanks Alice for making this stand!

God Bless you,
Peggy

Hi Alice, Thanks for this inspirational Bible verse. It's definitely important - for ourselves now AND for our kids and grandkids in the years and decades to come! And thanks to your encouragement, I immediately stopped and prayed for our nation and our families. Thank you for an important Word-Filled Wednesday.

Praise God that He gives us a way to change our country by humbling ourselves before him. Praying that I can help be a light to those that are in darkness!

Have a blessed day!
Sherry
