30 Days of Thanksgiving - Day 5

Ephesians 5:20: "giving thanks always for all things to
God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ."

As always my thanks to my Heavenly Father is based on the scripture above in Ephesians.  I will be listing something that I am thankful for each day in November.

1.  First of all I thank my Heavenly Father for a Christian mother who took me to church and taught me about Jesus.
2.  Today I am thankful for being led to a Bible study of women of the Bible in 2008, led by Rachel Olson of Proverbs 31 Ministries, which led me to start blogging and share my Heavenly Father with those who have visited here.
3.  Okay, I'm not perfect (read #2 again), but then who is except our Heavenly Father. Today, I thank my Father for the many things He has taught me through the many people I have met in "blogland". Some became my very dear friends, some have moved on to other things, but my Heavenly Father has always been with me and led me to new friends. Today, Father, I thank you for those who have become very dear friends and thank You for always helping me find something to post that hopefully helped others and reflected You.
4. After reading Deuteronomy 7:6, from my Friday Feature, I would have to say I am so thankful that the Lord, my God, has chosen me to be one of His special treasures (possessions) out of all the people in this world. To me that is so awesome. Thank you Father for chosing me and I'm so glad I chose you to be my Heavenly Father.
5.  I am so thankful for my dh, my two beautiful daughters, and two grandchildren (one is in college and the other one is 13).  Dear Father, please watch over all them and keep them safe.

Beautiful Alice!!! AMEN!!!

I'm thankful that you have dh, your 2 beautiful daughters and 2 grandkids 2

Praying that dh is doing better. That the facial stuff clears up before the 23rd because God lazers it instead! I ask Our Father for grace and mercy for your dear SIL so that she can deal with the chemo better, less pain and suffering and I agree complete removal is the best answer. May God hold her dearly and soother her suffering.

Thank you for your faithful prayers!

Your dear family is a wonderful blessing! may God keep you all from harm and pour out His favor.

Love and God's many blessings,
Peggy

Ohhh Alice, I posted your SOS(at the same time you did) because I did not see you or hear from you so I was concerned and kept coming to check on you here... but I prayed and I trusted that you and yours are in Our Heavenly Father's care and He knows.
I just needed to believe Him and what He promises you and me!

Love you... I'll be back later for your SOS and your Thanks for today !! Looks good
