A Praise Report and Prayer Request

My dh got a good report from the ultrasound he had done yesterday. He said the person who did it took a lot more pictures than the other person had. He got a call from the dr's office saying that everything looked okay. He told the girl he had an ear infection and was put on an antibiotic and she said this could have helped the lymph node, that sometimes they become enlarged trying to fight off something that is not supposed to be in the body. Praise God.   Also, his blood count was back to normal.

I went for my yearly eye check up yesterday and the dr. was having a hard time getting a good reading. He had a picture taken of both my eyes because he saw something that bothered him when he looked with the bright light. The picture showed an area on both eyes that is probably macular degeneration but not as bad as my dh right eye is. The dr. was concerned that I might have a leakage in my eyes so I'm to see another dr. on Thursday at 8:45 am. He will put dye in both my eyes and it will show for sure if I do. He said if there is a leakage the dr. would probably give me shots in the eye to help take care of it.  That really threw me as I was not expecting that there was anything wrong except I needed some better glasses.

When I got home and came to the computer, there were two windows open that I could not close. But all of a sudden another window popped up like out of no where and it was called The Healing Room and had music playing and a girl singing. It is called Julie True Soaking Worship -An Interactive Healing. I've done the Soaking in God's Presence before using worship music. I scrolled down a little farther and read the following:

Relax, everything’s going to be all right;
Rest, everything’s coming together;
Open your hearts, love is on the way!
~ From the Message, pg. 515

I've read some quotations of scripture from the Message from other people, but it's in everyday language so I've always been a little leery of it. I called dh to come and look at what came up and I said it's like God has sent me a message.

Following is the link for you to go to check it out and spend some time just listening to her music, http://julietrue.com/online-healing-room.

Phillipians 4:6-7
6"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by
prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let
your requests be made known to God;"
7"and the peace of God, which surpasses all
understanding, will guard your hearts and minds
through Christ Jesus."

Today I am linking Word Filled Wednesday to my Super Sunday on May 15th.   Click on Super Sunday and go to just under the picture labeled "Mom's Empty Chair".  Hope it will bless you as it did  me.

Also, my husband is having surgery on June 2nd to have his left carotid artery cleaned out.  If you will please put him on your prayer list we both would appreciate it.  I love you all and appreciate you more than you will every know.  God is so good and I have to give Him all the glory for the things we have already been through.

Update on Prayer Request

Since my last post asking for prayer for my husband, I am still asking for prayer. He had an ultrasound this morning and then went to see the neurologist. The ultrasound showed a 70 to 75% blockage in his left carotid artery which means he needs to see a cardiologist regarding cleaning out the artery. My husband also has some urinary problems and will see the urologist again next Wednesday as this problem is a little worse. The neurologist said we should wait to see which area needs to be fixed first.

I'm asking God for complete healing. Will you join me in praying for God's will to be done. My husband has listened to an entire Audio Set of the whole Bible and since then has been spending time just reading his Bible. We are both covered by the blood of Jesus so the enemy has no authority attacking us and I say to him "flee now in the name of Jesus."

Thanks to all of you who are praying for my husband and myself as I have some more back problems.

Urgent Prayer Request

My husband had an MRI today to check the arteries in his neck and head. He has macular degeneration in his right eye. One night he was watching TV and for a few moments half of the screen he could not see, it looked black. He did not think anything about it but when he went for his eye check up last week he mentioned this to his doctor and he immediately got him an appointment with a neurologist. He just received a call from the doctor himself telling him that he had a 50-60% blockage in his carotid artery. He has noticed his heart skipping a few times but nothing that alarmed him. Please pray that God will heal him or the doctors will be able to clean the artery out.

Your prayers are needed and I have complete faith in all of you and most of all in my Heavenly Father.

And the prayer of faith will save the sick,
and the Lord will raise him up.

Update

Just a note to let you know that things are coming together with my computer and I hope to have everything back on soon.  I will be away next week from Thursday to Sunday.  Our youngest daughter asked if we would like to ride with her up to my oldest daughter's in VB to pick up her daughter.  My daughter's will meet half way this Sunday so my granddaughter can spend her spring break in VB with my oldest daughter.  My grandson is going to Jamaica next week on a missions trip with his church.  I'm sure he will appreciate your prayers.  Also he is making plans to go to college next Fall so please remember him in prayer that he will get accepted at the college God has chosen for him.  He has mentioned majoring in music.  He plays the quitar with a band at his church and has a piano in his bedroom.  He gets his talent from my husband and his side of the family as well as his own Dad.

I missed my 3 year blogoversary on April 1.  It's hard to believe that so much time has gone by.  I have met so many wonderful ladies and I just want you to how that I love you all and have learned a lot from all of you. May God bless you and keep you safe within His arms.

Prayer Request

Tomorrow my husband and I are going to sit with my cousin (who has become like a sister to me) while her daughter has a biopsy of a mass in her abdomen and also gall bladder surgery.  I'm sure they would appreciate your prayers not only for the surgery but for salvation.  I will miss WFW but felt being with my cousin was the thing God would want me to do.  We will be back late tomorrow evening.

May God give all of you a God filled WFW.

Update and Continued Prayer

Thanks to all of you who have been praying for me and for your encouraging comments.  I wish I could tell you everything is okay but right now it's not.  I still stand on God's Word that "by His stripes I am healed", just waiting for His timing.  I had one physical therapy session and then I got a cold and all the crudy things that go with it so I have not been back.  I'm over that but I'm still dizzy in my head.  It's a type of Vertigo that requires physical therapy and they can only do part of it on me because of the rod in the back of my neck.  There are crystals or little stones in the ear canal that help keep your balance.  If they get dislocated into another part of the ear it causes the dizziness and throws you off balance.  I had never heard of this before.  I have an appointment with the ENT doctor tomorrow and hopefully there is something else he can do to stop this.  So, I still need your prayers.  I have kept up with your posts and have just soaked in a lot of God's word from all of you and your encouragement.  I'm using Psalms 91:1 "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty."  Further down it says "He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge..." - That's where I am.  I was reading this on a friend's blog and I suddenly realized or wondered just how big God's arms are because there are probably thousands and more that are doing the same thing but He looks at each one of us as an individual.  May God bless all of you and I will be back soon, after all, Jesus has already paid the price for my healing.  "His timing is not my timing and His ways and thoughts are not my ways and thoughts" (paraphased).  I love all of you so much.  May God's richest blessings be your's and may all your needs be met.
