In studing the book "Purpose Drivem Life" (a 40 day devotional) by Rick Warren, I found the following scriptures.  Jesus was talking to the woman at the well and this is what He told her about worship.  I felt led to share them here.

John 4:23-24

 23But the hour is coming and now is when the true
worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; 

for the Father is seeking such to worship Him."

24 "God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must

worship in spirit and truth."

Heavenly Father, I come here today to worship You and to offer up my praise to You.  You deserve all the glory and adoration because of who You are, our loving Heavenly Father.  I'm so thankful we do not have to offer sacrificies as was done before you made the ultimate sacrifice when You gave Your only Son so that we might have freedom to worship just as we are.  Your unfailing love is so evident in my life and in the lives of my family, and friends.  Thank you for being my friend, One I can come to with anything and You are so willing to listen.  Please accept the song in the following video as my worship to you - "Here I am to Worship".  I love you Father God and praise you in spirit and in truth.  I feel so honored that you chose me to be one of your servants and allowing me to join with others as they worship You.  Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty, Who was, Who is and is to come.

I have always liked the following song, "Open the Eyes of My Heart".  Years ago Janet Paschal and her husband came to our church and sang.  Janet really touched my heart that day.  She said she had always wanted to know Jesus as He really is.  I started praying for that also and I truly believe I have seen Him.  Not in a vision or a face but in the many things He has done in my life and in the lives of my family.  Jesus deserves our praise as well for giving His life that we might have eternal life and healing for our bodies.  If you would like to know what He has done for me you can click on My Story in the navigation bar underneath my header.  The story is titled Reach Out and Touch.  Enjoy the presence of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit as you listen to the song and I pray you will have a "WOW" experience.

Hebrews 13:15 says: "Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name."

Father God, I just lift up my heart, my mind,  my hands and offer praise to you for Who You are, for the mighty acts You have performed in our lives; I praise You for Your healing power; for Your Son through whom You have given us a home eternal and for the Holy Spirit, Who comforts us in times of pain and suffering, and sadness. You deserve all the glory, honor and praise that we can give you. Thank you for the flowers, the birds, the food that you have provided for us. I know that I am fearfully and wonderfully made and created by You. Praise Your Holy and righteous name. Amen
