Music on Monday

It's Beginning To Rain
by Joseph Larson

I pray you have enjoyed this song as much as I have.  I've missed a few Monday's but hopefully I'm back.  This will be done as the Lord leads me.  Songs minister to me a lot.
With things in this world not looking so good, I'm ready for God to rain down His blessings on all of us.

Music on Monday

Whispering Hope
Sung by
Haley Westernra

This song was written in 1868 by
Septmus Winner, an American
songwritter in the 19th century.

For more hymns and their origin, Peggy at Amazing Grace, Mazes, Messes, Miracles is doing a WOW - Worship on Wednesday focusing on hymns from a book, "Then Sings My Soul", Book 3 by Robert J. Morgan. You might want to visit her site on Wednesday as she goes more in depth about the hymns.

Music on Monday - He Knows My Name

Originally I posted this but accidentally deleted it when posting last weeks song, so I'm trying to get it reposted because it is a very good song.  It's amazing that God knows our name.  Think of all the people in the world - He knows every person by name even you.  May God bless you as you listen to the words of this song.

Way of Worship

Psalm 95:6-7
6 "Oh come, let us worship and bow down;
Let us kneel before the Lord our Maker.
7 For He is our God,
and we are the people of His pasture,
And the sheep of His hand."

Revelation 4: 10-11
10 "the 24 elders fall down before Him
who sits on the throne and worship Him
who lives forever and ever, and cast their
crowns before the throne saying:"
11 "You are worthy O Lord,
To receive glory and honor and power;
For you created all things,
And by Your will they exist and were created."

I am feeling in my spirit that we should worship our Maker more. If you feel the same way just take some time to listen to the song written by Dottie Rambo and sung by Janet Paschal, "I Call Him Lord" and spend some time in worship of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Without Him where would we be? I do love my Lord so much but feel that I don't tell Him that enough. May God bless you as you worship Him.

My God is Real

My God is Real
by Kenneth Morris

There are some things I may not know
there are some places I can't go
but I am sure of this one thing,
My God is real for I can feel him in my soul

Chorus
My God is real, he's real in my soul,
My God is real for he has washed
and made me whole,
His love for me is like pure gold.
My God is real for I can feel him in my soul.

I cannot tell just how it felt
when Jesus washed my sins away,
but since that day yes since that hour,
God has been real for I can feel his mighty power.

Chorus
My God is real, he's real in my soul,
my God is real for He has washed
and made my whole,
His love for me, is like pure gold.
My God is real for I can feel him in my soul.

God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ."

Way of Worship (WOW)

Photobucket

Thanks for all the prayers. I just felt the need to Worship my God and share it with those who visit.  Feel free to worship God while you are here.

Psalm 95:6-7
6"Oh come, let us worship and bow down;
Let us kneel before the Lord our Maker.
7For He is our God,
And we are the people of His pasture,
And the sheep of His hand."

Heavenly Father, I humbly come before You today to thank You for all you have done in my life.  I thank You for the wonderful friends here who have prayed for me and ask that You pour out a blessing upon them.  I worship You in spirit and in truth, I seek Your Kingdom and all of it's righteousness.  I praise You for who You are, Your lovinging kindness, Your unfailing love, Your patience, and for always being available whenever I need You.  Thank you for your Son, Jesus, Whom you sent as a sacrifice for our sins, that we might have forgiveness and an eternal home in Heaven.  Jesus I worship you, I seek your face, I want to know you as you really are.  I worship You Father, Son and Holy Spirit for without you I would be lost.  Praise Your holy, holy name.  Please bless all who read this and worship You as well.  I love You with all of my heart and one day I will be able to sit at Your feet and thank You, worship You and love You personally.  Amen

No One Ever Cared for Me Like Jesus

This song really ministers to me because I can truly relate to the fact that no one ever cared for me like Jesus.  Hope it ministers to you as well.

Weekends of Worship (WOW)

Photobucket

This is Sunday, Day 2 of Weekends of Worship, WOW, a Spirit-led meme dedicated to worshipping our King hosted by One Heart. To those who have already joined, welcome back. If you would like to join click on her site to get the details, do a post of worship, then go back to One Heart and sign in on Mr. Linky so others can read your day of Worship and will find others who have posted that you can visit. Hope you will join us as we praise and worship our Heavenly Father together as a group. If you would like to know how this started go here WOW.

I have always liked the following song, "Open the Eyes of My Heart".  Years ago Janet Paschal and her husband came to our church and sang.  Janet really touched my heart that day.  She said she had always wanted to know Jesus as He really is.  I started praying for that also and I truly believe I have seen Him.  Not in a vision or a face but in the many things He has done in my life and in the lives of my family.  Jesus deserves our praise as well for giving His life that we might have eternal life and healing for our bodies.  If you would like to know what He has done for me you can click on My Story in the navigation bar underneath my header.  The story is titled Reach Out and Touch.  Enjoy the presence of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit as you listen to the song and I pray you will have a "WOW" experience.

Weekends of Worship (WOW) - June 5-6, 2010

Photobucket

Starting today is a new meme called Weekends of Worship (WOW) and is hosted by One Heart. Click on her site to get the details, do a post of worship, then go back to One Heart and sign in on Mr. Linky to read other posts of Worship.  I am truly looking forward to this. Hope you will join us.

Listen and watch the video, read the scriptures and then just sit back, relax and worship our God-Jehovah-Jirieh, the God who Provides and Jehovah-Raphra, the God who heals.

Eph. 1:7 "In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace"

I Pet. 2:24 "Who Himself bore our sins in His Own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins might live for righteousness - by whose stripes you were healed."

Father God, I just lift up my praise, give You honor and glory  for all that You have provided for me. You have done so many things in my life besides the things evident in this video.  You spared my life so that I could become a part of this place called "Blogland".  You have given me so many friends and so much ministry from all of them.  You are so precious to me and I love you more and more each day.  I give you praise for a Godly husband, two beautiful daughters who love you, two grandchildren who love you and an awesome son-in-law who loves you more than words can say.

All I can say is "Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty."  One day I look forward to is the day I can stand before you, and worship you, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
Thank you and praise your Holy Name.

I Know by The Masters

This is an old Southern Gospel Song that the quartet my husband sang with years ago used to sing.  I happened to hear some words that brought this song back to memory. He said it was written by Laverne Tripp.  I realize that a lot of people do not relate to the southern gospel songs but they minister to my heart.  I will put the lyrics below.  May it bless you as it has me.
I Know
Written by Laverne Tripp

Some people say that this old time religion
Is just a thing of the past.
But in this modern age that we're living
It's the only thing that will last.

Now you may think that I'm a little old fashioned
Well, friend, that's all right with me.
But I'm so glad that I am a Christian
And from sin I have been set free.

CHORUS:

I know, I know, there's no doubt about it
He lives in my heart and I'm gonna shout it.
I know, I know, my sins are forgiven
And I'm on my way to a place that's called Heaven.

Not long ago at an old fashioned meeting
I fell on my knees there in prayer.
He lifted my burdens, sins shackles fell from me
And His presence was so real everywhere.

Now that the load I carried is lighter,
He's changed my gray skies to blue.
My steps are now higher and I have this assurance
That His sweet love will carry me through.

CHORUS:

Come go with me to that land over yonder
He's prepared for the pure and the true
It's a place where sickness and death cannot enter
I'm going, brother, how about you?

It may be today or may be tomorrow
He'll return in robes of pure white.
I'm packing up now getting my things together
Who knows, He might come tonight.

CHORUS:

Ephesians 5:20: "giving thanks always for all things to
God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ."

Via Dolorosa - Sandi Patty

"For God so loved the world that
He gave His only begotten Son,
that whoever believes in Him
should not perish but have
everlasting life."

God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ."
